Terlihat anak nelayanpun juga dengan mahir mencari ikan, lalu pendidikan mereka gimana, tentu sering tertinggal sekolahnya, terlihat mereka para anak usia sekolah juga jauh dari lokasi pendidikan.
Disebutkan bahwa mereka ini para nelayan adalah nelayan yang sengaja tinggal jauh dari kampung dan berprofesi sebagai pencari ikan namun disamping rumah sederhana mereka juga dibangun rumah walet.
Walau jauh dari kampung ramai namun penghidupan mereka juga dikelilingi sumber penghasilan yang melimpah dan satu-satunya sarana transportasi adalah melalui jalan sungai yang juga sangat rawan sebab paduran sebangau merupakan kawasan sungai konservasi taman nasional sebangau yang terjaga habitatnya ditambah hewan liar juga dilindungi.
Anak nelayan disini kata Wulan sangat menikmati kehidupan apa adanya walau seminggu sekali mereka bisa juga keluar ke pasar desa untuk menjual hasil serta mencari kebutuhan sehari – hari.
