SKNews, Pulang Pisau – Sebanyak 33 Suara akan menentukan suara dalam pemilihan damang di wilayah Kecamatan Kahayan Hilir, sebagaimana sebelumnya Dewan adat dayak mendatangi kecamatan tersebut mempertanyakan agar damang segera dilakukan pemilihan agar roda kepengurusan adat segera dapat berjalan sebagaimana mesthinya.
Menurut rencana pemilihan damang akan segera dilaksanakan pada 31 Maret 2022 mendatang sementara sejumlah nama juga mulai berminculan menyampaikan kesiapannya dal;am kontestasi tersebut termasuk diantaranya juga berasal dari luar kepengurusan yang ada saat ini.
Camat Kahayan Hilir sendiri menerangkan bahwa dari 33 yang akan memberikan hak suaranya nanti, terdiri 3 lurah, 7 kades, 3 ketua LPMK, 7 ketua BPD, 3 mantir tingkat kelurahan, dan 7 Mantir tingkat Desa serta 3 mantir kecamatan dengan pesan pokok camat agar damang yang terpilih nanti dapat mengemban tugas kedamangan dengan berupaya lebih memajukan lagi adat budaya daerah.
