SKNews, Seruyan – Bupati Seruyan Yulhaidir menghadiri puncak peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 1 Kuala Pembuang ke-38 tahun, dalam kesempatan tersebut Bupati memberikan motivasi dan semangat belajar untuk menggapai prestasi.
Hadirnya Bupati Yulhaidir membuat suasana peringatan HUT menjadi lebih meriah dari sebelumnya, karena Bupati juga merupakan salah satu alumni terbaik SMAN 1 Kuala Pembuang tahun sekitar tahun 1986-1989 silam.
“Pertama saya ucapan selamat bertambah usia SMAN 1 Kuala Pembuang, semoga bertambahnya usia tidak hanya angka yang bertambah tua, namun prestasi dan kemajuan harus semakin ditampakkan,” kata Yulhaidir, Senin, (28/11/22).
Menurutnya, sejumlah capaian prestasi gemilang yang diraih semasa duduk di bangku SMA menjadi motivasi kehidupan hingga saat ini. Salah satunya adalah mendapatkan peringkat 1 atau 2 dari kelas 1 hingga kelas 3, bahkan bisa dikatakan menjadi lulusan dengan nilai terbaik pada masanya. Sebagai alumni kurang lebih 36 tahun yang lalu, setiap sekolah selalu besemangat dan mengedepankan disiplin.
“Cerita ini bukan untuk kesombongan dan ria, tapi sebagai bentuk support dan pengetahuan terhadap pelajar semuanya. Bahwa hidup harus melangkah ke depan dan yakin dengan diri sendiri bahwa kesuksesan tergantung kita yang menjalani,” ucapnya.
Yulhaidir berpesan, sebagai seorang pelajar yang nantinya akan menjadi penerus dan pemimpin daerah, tentu harus selalu optimis dalam menjalani kehidupan. Jika terlalu pesimis maka cita-cita yang dimimpikan selama ini tidak akan pernah tercapai.
Sementara itu, Kepala SMAN 1 Kuala Pembuang, Tuti Sundari menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada Bupati Yulhaidir, yang sudah berkenan menghadiri puncak HUT SMA. Sebagai alumni banyak pesan, kesan, dan motivasi yang diberikan kepada siswa.
