SKNews, Seruyan – Sebagian besar desa pedalaman di wilayah Kabupaten Seruyan masih belum teraliri jaringan listrik, untuk itu Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) setempat meminta pemerintah daerah (pemda) setempat untuk serius memperhatikan kebutuhan listrik untuk warganya.
Anggota DPRD Seruyan, Nardi mengatakan, masih banyak desa-desa terpencil di wilayah setempat yang hingga saat ini masih belum teraliri listrik. Di mana hal tersebut sesuai dengan hasil reses yang dilakukan pihaknya di daerah pemilihan (dapil) III.
“Hampir disemua daerah pemilihan, masyarakat di desa-desa terpencil itu mengusulkan fasilitas penerangan, tertutama di desa-desa pelosok dapil III yang sampai saat ini belum ada jaringan,” katanya, Jum’at, (1/3/2022).
Menurutnya, aspirasi dari masyarakat tersebut harus segera ditindaklanjuti oleh pemda, karena listrik memang sudah menjadi keperluan utama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, khususnya untuk hal penerangan maupun kebutuhan rumah tangga lainnya.
“Kemerdekaan penerangan ini menurut saya sudah seharusnya dirasakan oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat, karena keperluan yang memang mengharuskan adanya aliran listrik,” tegasnya.
Diharapkan, pemerintah setempat bisa memberikan solusi atas permasalahan yang dihadapi tersebut, sehingga masyarakat bisa menikmati penerangan listrik seperti yang kita rasakan saat ini. *.*
