SKNews, Seruyan – Dalam upaya memaksimalkan dan meningkatkan pelayanan Perusahaan Daerah Air dan Minum (PDAM) Tirta Seruyan, Pemerintah Daerah (Pemda) setempat didorong untuk membangunkan jaringan listrik ke intake building Tanjung Paring di Desa Pematang Limau.
Anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Seruyan, Argiansyah mengungkapkan, pemda harus berkomunikasi dan berkolaborasi dengan perusahaan listrik negara (PLN), agar dapat bersama-sama melaksanakan program pembangunan jaringan listrik ke Tanjung Paring.
“Pembangunan jaringan listrik ke intake building PDAM itu sangat penting dilakukan karena dapat meningkatkan penyediaan air bersih kepada masyarakat,” katanya, Kamis, (22/6/23).
Disebutkannya, untuk jarak yang ditempuh menuju lokasi intake building PDAM dari jaringan listrik Desa Pematang Limau kurang lebih sejauh 3 kilometer, dan akses badan jalan juga sudah sampai ke daerah tersebut.
“Jika jaringan listrik terbangun, maka fasilitas Intek PDAM yang berkapasitas lebih tinggi dan besar bisa dioperasionalkan, tentu hal ini akan berdampak maksimalnya pendistribusian air,” ujarnya.
Politisi PDI-P ini menambahkan, operasional intake building PDAM saat ini hanya menggunakan mesin generator listrik, dimana hal tersebut sangat besar untuk operasional khususnya untuk pengeluaran BBM. *.*
