Di tahun 2023 ini pemerintah daerah Pulang Pisau terus menata serta memberikan fasilitas daya dukung peningkatan petani dalam rangka memaksimalkan hasil panen, dimulai dari peran penyuluh SDM petani terus dilakukan upaya perbaikan sarana prasarana yang digunakan.  Sebagaimana telah ditetapkan Pulang Pisau sebagai daerah lokasi ketahanan pangan nasional maka melalui dinas pertanian setempat juga menjadi target inovasi untuk meningkatkan program kemajuan bidang pertanian. SDM menjadi hal terpenting untuk mendorong kemajuan bidang pertanian, dimulai dari peran penyuluh hingga kelompok tani yang ada diwilayah food estate untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dalam mengolah lahan mereka. Kepala dinas pertanian Pulang Pisau, Godfritson saat dibincangi menyampaikan bahwa pihaknya berupaya keras meningkatkan sdm petani dengan sinergi bersama jajaran bidang penyuluh sehingga melalui tangan mereka pertanian dilokasi food estate akan terus meningkat. “ Dinas Pertanian akan terus berupaya mendorong SDM pertanian meningkat sehingga ini sangat diperlukan dari seluruh jajaran bidang pertanian agar secara maksimal melakukan pendampingan seperti halnya banyak fasilitas yang kita berikan tentu tak lain tujuannya adalah memberikan daya dorong kepada petani agar mendapatkan hasil panen melimpah sehingga target capaian ketahanan pangan nasional akan dapat dicapai depannya,” ucap Godfritson.
