SKNEWS – SERUYAN – Dalam rangka memberikan tempat tinggal yang lebih layak, Jajaran Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kabupaten Seruyan mengusulkan kepada Pemerintah Daerah (Pemda) setempat, untuk maningkatkan kembali program bedah rumah bagi Rumah Tidak Layak Huni (RTLH) di tahun 2022 ini.
Anggota DPRD Seruyan Rudi Hartono mengatakan, saat ini masih banyak ditemuinya tempat tinggal atau rumah warga yang kondisinya sudah tidak layak huni, di mana mereka rata-rata warga yang berada di bawah garis kemiskinan.
“Memperhatikan kondisi demikian, kami minta pemerintah setempat untuk memperhatikan rumah warga tidak layak huni untuk segera dibantu,” katanya.
Menurutnya, seperti di Desa Paren Kecamatan Danau Sembuluh, dimana banyak rumah warga yang sudah tidak layak huni, sehingga patut untuk diberikan program perehaban maupun pembangunan total. “saat kegiatan reses banyak di desa setempat yang rumahnya sudah rusak dan mereka merupakan warga tidak mampu,” terangnya.
Dikatakannya, ini hanya sebagian contoh dan masih banyak lagi di desa-desa atau kecamatan lainnya yang juga mengalami hal yang sama.
Kendati demikian, Ia juga mengapresiasi pemerintah setempat yang sudah memberikan program bantuan rumah kepada warga-warga yang tidak mampu beberapa waktu lalu, namun ia berharap agar program tersebut tetap berlanjut dan merata menyasar warga yang memerlukan. (Said/ Red)
