SKNews, Seruyan – Memasuki musim penghujan para pengrajin kerupuk di Kota Kuala Pembuang Kabupaten Seruyan mengalami kendala untuk melakukan proses penjemuran, untuk itu pengrajin mengarapkan bantuan dari pemerintah untuk memberikan mesin pengeringan.
Kondisi cuaca yang sering berubah cepat akhir-akhir ini berdampak besar terhadap pelaku usaha mikro kecil menengah (UMKM), salah satunya produksi kerupuk yang masih memanfaatkan matahari dalam melakukan proses pengeringan.
“Setiap produksi bahan baku yang digunakan mencapai 60 kilogram, di mana produksi yang dilakukan secara bertahap dan tidak borongan,” kata pengrajin kerupuk Mama Elsa.
Menurutnya, pembatasan produksi ini menjadi salah satu cara untuk menjaga cita rasa produk yang dihasilkan. Dimana harus menyesuaikan dengan waktu produksi, terlebih memasuki musim penghujan seperti saat ini.
“Jika cuaca sering terjadi hujan maka produksi akan ditunda dan bahan baku disimpan dilemari pendingin, dan produksi akan kembali dilakukan saat cuaca mulai terik dan bagus untuk melakukan penjemuran,” ujarnya.
Untuk lebih memaksimalkan hasil produksi, pengrajin sangat memerlukan bantuan mesin pengering kerupuk sebagai pengganti panasnya sinar matahari. Hal ini juga sebagai langkah inovasi dan mewujudkan majunya UMKM.
“Kedepan memang sangat diperlukan inovasi dan trobosan pengganti cahaya matahari, yang memang selalu dimanfaatkan pengrajin untuk melakukan penjemuran hasil produksi kerupuk,” Plt Kadis Koperasi UMKM dan Perindag Seruyan, Primermen.
Kedepan pengrajin kerupuk di arahkan untuk menempati industri kecil menengah (IKM), sehingga sarana prasarana dan fasilitas yang diminta dapat diberikan oleh pemerintah.
“Sejauh ini pengrajin kerupuk yang ada bergerak secara individu, sementara bantuan menurut aturan harus berkelompok, sehingga kedepan pelaku UMKM secara perlahan akan dikumpulkn di IKM, untuk mempermudah pemberian bantuan,” ujarnya.
