SKNews, Seruyan – Jembatan penghubung jalan Mahang-Beriut Kelurahan Kuala Pembuang I, Kecamatan Seruyan Hilir hampir ambruk, guna menghindari korban Kalangan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kabupaten Seruyan meminta pemerintah daerah (pemda) segera menindaklanjuti.
Anggota DPRD Seruyan, Bejo Riyanto menyampaikan, hampir ambruknya jembatan penghubung jalan Mahang-Beriut ini akibat curah hujan yang cukup tinggi dalam beberapa hari terakhir. Meski pondasi dan bangunan jembatan masih kokoh, namun diujung jembatan ada bagian tanah yang tergerus air sungai.
“Meski permasalahan ini bukan bidang saya dikomisi, namun masyarakat dari daerah pemilihan I minta tolong menyampaikan kepada pemda melalui dinas terkit untuk segera ditindaklanjuti,” katanya, Sabtu, (25/3/23).
Menurutnya, jembatan penghubung jalan ini bukan berada di tengah perkotaan padat penduduk. Namun, keberadaannya sangat diperlukan bagi masyarakat, khususnya para petani untuk beraktivitas ke sawah, kebun, dan lainnya.
“Yang tidak kalah pentingnya jembatan ini menjadi tempat lalu lalang kegiatan rumah tangga dan anak sekolah, sehingga harus mendapatkan tindaklanjut dari Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang setempat,” jelasnya.
Ia menambahkan, untuk menghindari terjadinya hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan terutama bagi anak-anak, maka langkah awal harus dilakukan oleh instansi terkait, mengingat warga sekitar hanya membuat jalur darurat untuk aktivitasnya. *.*
