Anggota DPRD Seruyan, Atinita mengatakan, berdasarkan hasil kunjungan reses pihaknya di Dapil III tersebut, saat ini masih terdapat tiga desa yang tidak ada tenaga perawat dan bidan, yaitu di Desa Tumbang Setawai Kecamatan Seruyan Hulu, DesaTumbang Gugup dan Rantau Betung di Kecamatan Suling Tambun.
“Tiga desa tersebut sampai saat ini belum memiliki Nakes perawat maupun bidan,” ungkap Atinita, Senin, (7/3/2022).
Menurutnya, kondisi tersebut membuat tidak sedikit masyarakat disana kesulitan jika ingin borobat maupun periksa kandungan dan sebagainya. Jika ada keluhan penyakit mereka harus pergi ke Ibu Kota Kecamatan yang tentu dengan perjalanan culup jauh dan biaya yang begitu mahal.
“Ini menjadi keluhan masyarakat di sana, tidak sedikit dari meraka melakukan protes terhadap kurangnya fasilitas kesehatan itu,” tegasnya.
