Ketua Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Seruyan, Zuli Eko Prasetyo menyampaikan, dikelolanya destinasi wisata yang ada saat ini tentu dapat meningkatkan pendapatan asli daerah (PAD), bahkan sekaligus dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat sekitar.
“Potensi wisata di Seruyan sangat banyak, mulai dari cagar budaya, pantai, dan lain sebagainya. Jika dikelola dengan baik tentu dapat meningkatkan PAD,” katanya, Senin, (26/6/23).
Dikatakannya, pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor yang dapat mendongkrak peningkatan PAD, untuk itu perlunya pengembangan, inovasi, dan torobosan terhadap destinasi wisata, sehingga dapat menambah daya tarik untuk meningkatkan pengunjung berwisata.
Selain itu, untuk meningkatkan pengunjung perlu juga promosi wisata agar destinasi wisata di Bumi Gawi Hantantiring ini bisa diketahui wisatawan.
“Jika promosinya maksimal saya yakin banyak wisatawan yang berkunjung di tempat wisata kita, sehingga dapat meningkatkan PAD,” tutupnya. *.*
