SKNews – Pulang Pisau : Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Pulang Pisau terus melakukan perbaikan dan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dalam rangka menghadapi tantangan di era milenial ini. Untuk mendukung Food Estate, madrasah setingkat SLTA ini siap bertransformasi menjadi madrasah plus berketerampilan khusus.
Kepala MAN 1 Pulang Pisau, Sriyadi mengatakan, rencana transformasi status madrasah tersebut merupakan bagian dari upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agar peserta didik MAN 1 Pulang Pisau mampu berkompetisi setelah lulus dari madrasah tersebut.
Dibeberkan Sriyadi, untuk merealisasikan rencana tersebut, MAN 1 Pulang Pisau sudah mengajukan proposal kepada Kemenag RI melalui Direktur Kurikulum Sarana Prasarana Kesiswaan dan Kelembagaan (KSKK) yang menaungi seluruh madrasah se-Indonesia, untuk perubahan status dari madrasah regular menjadi Madrasah Plus Keterampilan.
“Syukur Alhamdulillah sudah ada respon dari Direktur KSKK Kemenag RI terkait usulan kami, informasinya kita akan dapat bantuan proyek melalui program Surat Berharga Syariah Negara (SBSN) berupa pembangunan Gedung Praktek Belajar di lokasi MAN 1 Pulang Pisau ini,” ungkap Sriyadi saat dihubungi media ini via seluler, Jumat (3/7/2020).
Dikatakan Sriyadi, dalam proposal tersebut, tim pengembangan MAN 1 Pulang Pisau mengusulkan tiga jurusan yang akan menjadi program kejuruan unggulan nantinya, yakni Agribisnis Pertanian, Multimedia (Ilmu Informatika), dan Tata Busana.
Pemilihan tiga jurusan tersebut sengaja dilakukan, imbuhnya, karena ke depan ketiga jurusan tersebut akan menjadi peluang bisnis di Kabupaten Pulang Pisau khususnya.
“Terlebih kabupaten kita telah ditunjuk pemerintah pusat menjadi salah satu lokasi pencanangan lumbung ketahanan pangan nasional atau Food Estate. Saya yakin jurusan agribisnis pertanian akan sangat dibutuhkan nantinya,” kata dia.
Sementara Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) Kabupaten Pulang Pisau H Masrani mengapresiasi kerja keras yang dilakukan Kepala MAN 1 Pulang Pisau Sriyadi berserta jajarannya dalam memajukan madrasah tersebut.
Dalam kunjungannya ke MAN 1 Pulang Pisau belum lama ini, selain meninjau lokasi pembangunan Gedung Praktek Belajar untuk MAN Plus Keterampilan, ia juga memberikan arahan kepada kepala MAN 1 Pulang Pisau.
“Semoga apa yang menjadi usulan kita ini bisa terealisasi dan segera di setujui oleh Direktur KSKK Kemenag RI. Kalau Gedung Praktek Belajar tersebut berhasil dibangun, ini akan menjadi salah satu nilai jual yang sangat tinggi bagi MAN 1 Pulpis, dan akan membuktikan bahwa lulusan siswa madrasah juga siap berkompetisi dengan dibekali keahlian khusus,” tukas Masrani. asri/red
