SKNEWS (PULANG PISAU) : Ketua Kwarcab Gerakan Pramuka Pulang Pisau, Usis I Sangkai kepada wartawan menyebutkan sedikitnya 900 peserta mengikuti lomba gerak jalan dalam rangkaian HUT ke-58 Gerakan Pramuka dan Harjad ke-17 Kabupaten Pulang Pisau tahun 2019.
“Kegiatan ini masih dalam rangkaian HUT Pramuka dan Harjad Kabupaten Pulpis. Total peserta sebanyak 900 orang terdiri dari pembina, pendamping dan panitia serta peserta lomba,” katanya.
Selanjutnya, Usis berharap dengan adanya kegiatan ini maka akan lebih terjalin persaudaraan antara sesama, khususnya kepada putra remaja yang tersebar di 8 kecamatan yang ada di wilayah Kabupaten Pulang Pisau.
“Ya, sesuai arahan Bapak Bupati tadi, kegiatan lomba ini upaya mempererat persaudaraan antara putra remaja kita di Bumi Handep Hapakat ini. Juga untuk membentuk gerak dan langkah sehingga ketika anak-anak kita ini tampil dihadapan publik sudah percaya diri,” ungkapnya.
Bupati Pulang Pisau, H Edy Pratowo yang juga selaku Ketua Majelis Pembimbing Cabang (Mabicab) Gerakan Pramuka Pulang Pisau (Pulpis) meminta agar Kwartir Cabang (Kwarcab) Gerakan Pramuka Pulpis agar secara rutin menggelar event kepramukaan di Bumi Handep Hapakat.
Hal itu disampaikan Edy Pratowo saat memghadiri lomba gelar jalan dalam rangkaian HUT ke-58 Pramuka. Kegiatan itu berlangsung di Halaman Stadion HM Sanusi, Jalan Panunjung Tarung, Kota Pulang Pisau, Sabtu (14/9/2019) pagi.
Ka Mabicap Pulang Pisau, H Edy Pratowo mengatakan bahwa gerakan Pramuka merupakan organisasi pendidikan luar sekolah yang sangat berpotensi untuk membangun jiwa dan semangat generasi muda.
“Tugas pokok gerakan Pramuka ini adalah menyelenggarakan pendidikan kepramukaan bagi anak selaku tunas-tunas bangsa agar tumbuh dan berkembang menjadi generasi muda yang memiliki keimanan dan ketaqwaan kepada Tuhan Yang Maha,” ucap Edy diharapkan seluruh peserta gerak jalan.
Selain itu, lanjut Edy, agar tumbuh Budi pekerti luhur dan berkepribadian yang luhur. Sebagai organisasi nonformal yang selalu dituntut untuk tumbuh dan berkembang sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman. Maka perlu adanya kegiatan – kegiatan yang mengacu pada tujuan tersebut.
“Salah satunya adalah mengadakan kegiatan yang bersifat perlombaan dan persahabatan dalam lomba gerak jalan. Kita harapkan dari hasil ini dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan semangat insan Pramuka berkualitas hingga pada akhirnya akan memuai prestasi,” ungkapnya. nt/red
