Edy Pratowo juga menguraikan bahwa saat ini realisasi program ketahanan pangan nasional telah memberikan dampak yang baik bagi pembangunan insfrastruktur pertanian di wilayah food estate. “ Kita melihat bahwa provinsi di sebagian wilayah Indonesia dalam kondisi yang tidak menentu namun kita yakini kondisi ini untuk wilayah Kalimantan Tengah tidak terlalu berdampak kepada petani kita dalam rangka memaksimalkan suksesi program ketahanan pangan nasional dan saat ini realisasi program ketahanan pangan nasional telah dan sedang dilakukan kegiatan pelaksanaan peningkatan insfrastruktur,” kata Edy. Dengan program tersebut bupati meyakini bahwa program ketahanan pangan nasional akan berhasil dan dampak yang tidak pernah terbayangkan petani di wilayahnya adalah realisasi program pembangunan di semua sektor menjadi lebih baik dan maju.
