SKNEWS, KOTAWARINGIN BARAT – Penjabat (Pj) Bupati Kotawaringin Barat Dr. Drs. H. Budi Santosa, M.Si, melepas peserta pawai tanglong yang digelar di kelurahan Raja kecamatan Arut Selatan. Kegiatan pada Selasa (18/7) ini diselenggarakan untuk menyambut 1 Muharam 1445 Hijriyah. Peserta pawai tanglong berasal dari berbagai lapisan masyarakat, mulai dari anak-anak hingga orang dewasa mereka berjalan bersama menyusuri jalur yang telah ditentukan dengan penuh kegembiraan dan semangat.
Dalam kesempatan ini, Pj. Bupati Dr. Budi Santosa menyampaikan selamat menyambut tahun baru Islam dan berharap agar momentum ini dapat memberikan inspirasi bagi warga Kobar untuk meningkatkan kualitas diri mereka menuju arah yang lebih baik. “Pada bulan ini, kita mengenang peristiwa hijrahnya Nabi Muhammad SAW, bukan sekadar berpindah tempat, tetapi lebih besar dari itu, yaitu perubahan masyarakat dari jahiliyah menuju masyarakat yang Islami,” kata Budi Santosa.
Budi Santosa juga berharap bahwa melalui kegiatan semacam ini, budaya dan nilai-nilai Islami dapat terus dijunjung tinggi dan diwariskan kepada generasi mendatang. Selain itu, semangat kebersamaan dan toleransi antarwarga juga diharapkan dapat terus ditingkatkan dalam membangun masyarakat yang lebih harmonis dan sejahtera.
“Semoga momentum tahun baru Islam ini menjadi titik awal bagi masyarakat Kotawaringin Barat untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas diri dan berkontribusi positif dalam memajukan daerah serta negara, selamat tahun baru Islam 1 Muharam 1445 Hijriyah,” ucap Budi Santosa.
