SKNews, Seruyan – Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kabupaten Seruyan, menyebutkan tempat pembuangan akhir (TPA) yang ada saat ini mulai penuh, untuk itu dinas terkait perlu mengelola sampah dengan baik agar sampah tidak menumpuk.
Anggota DPRD Seruyan, Bejo Riyanto mengatakan, pengelolaan sampah harus dilakukan sejak dini terutama meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk peduli sampah sangat diperlukan. Untuk Kota kuala pembuang dan sekitarnya tempat pembuangan akhir juga terbatas, bahkan setiap TPA yang disiapkan sudah hampir penuh dengan sampah.
“Pada setiap rumah selalu menghasilkan sampah baik yang organik maupun anorganik, sehingga apabila tidak dikelola dengan baik sampah akan tertumpuk dan menjadi masalah baru,” katanya, Rabu, (29/3/23).
Menurutnya, dinas terkait perlu melakukan inovasi dalam rangka melakukan pengeloaan sampah, baik sampah jenis kering maupun basah. Dikarenakan inovasi ini sangat baik dan perlu kerja sama dari masyarakat.
“Agar sampah bisa dikurangi dan tidak terjadi penumpukan yang terlalu banyak, perlu trobosan dalam pengelolaan sampat, dan tentunya masyarakat perlu kerjasama yang baik untuk menanggulangi,” ujarnya.
Politisi PAN ini berharap, dalam upaya mendukung pengelolaan sampah yang baik, juga diperlukan pelatihan dari dinas terkait kepada masyarakat. Tentunya dengan anggaran yang mencukupi agar pengeloaan sampah bisa berjalan maksimal. *.*
