Ketua Baznas Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah, Mustain Khaitami didalam laporannya mengatakan, kegiatan ini merupakan tindaklanjut rapat koordinasi nasional (Rakornas) yang digelar oleh Baznas beberapa waktu lalu.
“Perlu diketahui bahwa kegiatan Rakorda yang sekarang dilaksanakan ini sebagai tindak lanjut dari rakornas yang sebelumnya dilaksanakan”, katanya.
Ia menjelaskan, dengan terselenggaranya kegiatan ini, ia mengharapkan hasil bahwa masyarakat pada akhirnya bisa menyalurkan zakat nya lebih mengutamakan melalui BAZNAS.
“Output hari ini diharapkan adalah masyarakat itu bisa menyalurkan zakat/infak sedekahnya melalui BAZNAS (lembaga milik pemerintah), itu yang paling penting. Jadi, boleh tetap menyalurkan ke orang lain tetapi akan jadi lebih utama jika menyalurkannya pada BAZNAS”, jelasnya.
Ia menambahkan, poin yang kedua adalah bahwasanya BAZNAS se-Kalteng ini saling menguatkan dan selalu berkoordinasi serta saling sharing terkait kendala di suatu kabupaten dengan kabupaten lainnya.
“Yang kedua adalah, BAZNAS se-Kalteng ini kita akan punya program yang sama, kita akan saling sharing,disana ada problem apa dan cara mengatasinya bagaimana”, tambahnya.
Ia juga menyebut bahwasanya BAZNAS perlu terus didukung mengingat BAZNAS merupakan instansi milik pemerintah non struktural.
“Terus yang ketiga adalah ingin mengingatkan kembali kepada pak Sekda bahwa BAZNAS ini adalah instansi milik pemerintah non struktural , sehingga perlu terus didukung, dan bukam hanya di dukung namun juga diminta pertanggungjawabannya”, ungkapnya.
Ia juga berharap dengan adanya kegiatan ini, kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap BAZNAS bertambah, dan dengan adanya BAZNAS bisa menjadi sumber lain untuk mengetaskan kemiskinan melalui zakat, infak dan dana sosial lainnya, selain menggunakan APBD.
“Sehingga harapannya dengan adanya konsilidasi ini masyarakat semakin percaya kepada BAZNAS, pelaporannya akan semakin bagus, dan yang jelas gubernur,bupati dan walikota punya sumber lain untuk mengetaskan kemiskinan selain dari dana APBD ,itu dari dana infak, zakat dan dana sosialnya”, pungkasnya.
Sementara itu, Gubernur Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah H. Sugianto Sabran dalam sambutan tertulisnya dalam hal ini dibacakan oleh Sekretaris Daerah Provinsi Kalteng H. Nuryakin saat menyampaikan sambutan mengatakan, Pemerintah Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah menyambut baik dengan digelarnya Rapat Koordinasi dan Rapat Kerja Daerah Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) se-Kalimantan Tengah ini, mengingat akselerasi perwujudan visi dan misi BAZNAS, meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pengelolaan zakat, menguatkan peran BAZNAS dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan menanggulangi kemiskinan, baik material maupun spiritual yang harus terus dilakukan.
