Suarakahayannews, PULANG PISAU – Untuk meningkatkan sumber daya manusia (SDM), khususnya di bidang kerajinan tangan. TP PKK Kelurahan Kalawa, Kecamatan Kahayan Hilir, Kabupaten Pulang Pisau, Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah (Kalteng), dilatih membuat kerajinan tangan dari anyaman rotan.
“PKK Kelurahan Kalawa ini dilatih cara pembuatan tas dari rotan. Dimana, maksud kegiatan ini untuk peningkatan SDM, khususnya kerajinan tangan bagi ibu-ibu PKK dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga dan warga,” ucap Lurah Kalawa, Endra Setiawan, Selasa (10/11/2020).
Diterangkan Endra, untuk pelatih pengajar bagi ibu-ibu PPK Kalawa bekerjasama bekerjasama dengan pengrajin rotan dari Desa Gohong.
“Semoga tahun depan kegiatan ini dapat kita tingkatkan lagi, sehingga produk anyaman rotan, khususnya dari Kelurahan Kalawa bisa bersaing dengan daerah-daerah lainnya,” harapnya.
Ia juga berharap, hasil anyaman rotan ini nantinya dapat menjadi suvenir bagi pengunjung yang berminat sebagai cinderamata apabila destinasi wisata yang ada di kelurahan sudah berjalan nantinya.
“Ini akan terus kita kembangkan baik secara perseorangan maupun kelompok. Jadi, kelurahan selalu memberikan support dan berkoordinasi dengan dinas-dinas terkait didalam pengembangan potensi yang ada, terutama pengrajin dari bahan rotan,sehingga kegiatan ini sifatnya berkelanjutan,” tuturnya.
Endra mengungkapkan, dana pelatihan ini bersumber dari dana kelurahan. “Jadi, kegiatan ini kita laksanakan sekali setiap tahun. Meski begitu sifatnya bergantung dengan dana kelurahan saja, bisa berkolaborasi dengan dinas-dinas terkait,” pungkasnya.(rls/mn)
