Penerapan protokol diberlakukan mulai dari tahap coklit hingga pasca pemungutan suara nanti dengan cara wajib dipatuhi 3M serta pelaksanaan rapidtes bagi petugas yang di tunjuk.
Yuliana selaku ketua KPU mengatakan bahwa penerapan protokol kesehatan hukumnya wajib bagi petugas dalam bekerja mensukseskan pilkada serentak
Bahkan menurutnya KPU juga telah menyiapkan sejumlah anggaran untuk melengkapi para petugas seperti masker, handsanitizer serta pelindung wajah dengan harapan petugas dan pemilih terjamin keamanan diri dari penyebaran covid 19.
” Saya mewajibkan semua petugas patuhi protokol kesehatan dan kami telah menyiapkan semua peralatan yang disiapkan bahkan mulai awal tahapan telah kami berlakukan termasuk rapidtes petugas,’ kata Yuliana, Rabu, ( 22/10/2020 ).
Dengan penerapan tersebut Yuliana menjamin bahwa pilkada akan berlangsung dengan aman, jujur, disiplin dan sehat baik pemilih dan petugas.
Pelaksanaan pilkada ditengah pendemi memang suatu hal yang baru dan tantangan yang baru pula, oleh sebab itu perlu kedisiplinan semua jajaran penyelenggara dalam mematuhi protokol kesehatan, tidak hanya itu kami juga menghimbau supaya masyarakat yang nantinya akan terlibat dalam pemberian suara juga bersama – sama mematuhi protokol kesehatan menuju Pilkada aman, damai dan sehat.
