Armanto salah satu warga muara pangkuh menceritakan bahwa dirinya selama ini bekerja mencari ikan sungai namun diakui saat ini usaha tersebut sangat sulit sehingga dirinya terpaksa mencari pekerjaan tambahan dengan mencari kayu galam
“ Saat ini mencari ikan sangat sulit, dapat 1 kilo saja susah. Beda dengan dulu sehari bisa dapat 20 kilo sehingga saat ini saya mencari pekerjaan tambahan dengan mencari kayu galam,”kata Arman.
Menurutnya bahwa untuk mendapatkan ikan sungai dirinya harus berjuang selama 2 hari dan itupun tidak mendapatkan hasil yang diharapkan namun untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya tentu usaha ini terus dilakukannya,
